Jaw crusher is traditional crushing equipment mainly used for primary crushing. Jaw crusher is also called primary jaw crusher, which has always been broadly applied in industrial production due to its simple structure. Moreover, it has long been widely used for the coarse, medium and fine crushing of various kinds of ores and rocks whose compression strength is 147~245MPa in many industrial departments such as metallurgy, chemistry, building material, power plant and transportation. The maximum compression strength of the materials to be crushed is 320MPa. The main part of jaw crusher is jaw plate. In crushing process of jaw crusher machine, jaw crusher is just like an animal which uses upper and lower jaws to crush stones, so, we call it as jaw crusher. Types of Jaw Crusher Jaw crushers can be classified into two types, namely single toggle jaw crusher and double toggle jaw crusher according to different working principles. The outer frame of jaw crusher is generally made of cast iron or steel. The jaws themselves are usually constructed from cast steel. They are fitted with replaceable liners which are made of manganese steel, or Ni-hard (a Ni-Cr alloyed cast iron). Up to now, jaw crusher has various models. According to size of feed port, the smallest feed port of jaw crusher is 150*250 mm. And the largest feed port is 1600 mm*2100 mm. There are huge differences. Some jaw crushers can reach more than 100 tons, which greatly improves yield.
